Hansen and Werth Grant-Funded Internship Program

The Robbins College of Business and Entrepreneurship (RCOBE) is seeking businesses interested in providing internship employment opportunities for Fort Hays State University students. Thanks to the generous support of the Dane G. Hansen Foundation and Peter & Pamela Werth, businesses can hire a student intern at a significantly reduced cost through this program. FHSU will facilitate employment. Student applicants will be screened by FHSU representatives with each business making the final selection on the student intern.
For $500, businesses can receive a FHSU intern for 15 hours a week for 16 weeks (a total of 240 hours).
Internship opportunities may be available in areas of accounting, business communications, computer networking, economics, finance, graphic human resources, management information systems, marketing, operations management, tourism and hospitality, web design, etc.

With limited funding, businesses and students will be selected through a competitive application process. Successful business applicants include a well thought-through job description, job posting, or learning objective plan. Priority will be given to Northwest Kansas Businesses and individuals who are in in the start-up process (or who are in their first three years of businesses); however, all businesses are welcome to apply.
