Internship Program
The Robbins College of Business & Entrepreneurship at Fort Hays State University is seeking businesses interested in FHSU student interns. Thanks to the generous support of the Dane G. Hansen Foundation, Northwest Kansas businesses can hire a student intern at a significantly reduced cost through this program. FHSU will facilitate employment. Student applicants will be screened by FHSU representatives with each business making the final selection on the student intern.
Applications will only be selected for Northwest Kansas businesses within the 26 Kansas counties considered the Hansen Foundation territory.
For $500, businesses can be awarded a college student intern for 15 hours per week for the sixteen week fall term.
Internship opportunities may be available in the areas of accounting, business communications, computer networking, economics, finance, human resources, management information systems, marketing, operations management, tourism and hospitality, web design, etc.
With limited funding, businesses and students will be selected through a competitive selection process. Successful business applicants include a well thought-out job description, job posting, or learning objective plan.
