Admission Requirements
Undergraduate Transfers:
If you are a student with 24 transfer credit hours or more, you must:
- Have a minimum 2.00 cumulative GPA (on a 4.0 scale) on all previous college work.
If you are a student under the age of 21, with fewer than 24 transfer credit hours, you must:
- Have a minimum 2.00 cumulative GPA (on a 4.0 scale) on all previous college work and
- Meet freshman qualified admissions requirements.

Graduate Students:
If you wish to pursue a graduate program at FHSU, please visit the Graduate School website for instructions.
Admission Process
Follow the steps below for getting started at Fort Hays State University:
- Apply online for undergraduate admission to FHSU.
- Send official transcripts from all previously attended institutions to FHSU Registrar's Office, 600 Park Street, Hays, KS 67601. Military students should also send in their Joint Services Transcript (JST).
- Apply for Financial Aid and Scholarships.
- Once accepted, set up your FHSU TigerNetID for access to your student account.
- Contact your academic advisor to pre-register.
