- Must have a 2023-24 FAFSA on file and be registered in summer 2024 classes.
- Must complete the Financial Aid Data Form and any other financial aid action items in Workday.
- Enrollment Levels have changed starting summer 2024!
- Undergraduate: Halftime 6-8 hours/3/4 time 9-11 hours/Fulltime 12 or more hours
- Graduate: Halftime 5-8 hours/Fulltime 9 or more hours
- The awarding process for 2024 will happen a week to 10 days after your register for summer 2024 classes. Watch your Workday account for your Financial Aid Offer.
- Federal grants and direct loans will be automatically awarded if students have remaining eligibility after the fall 2023 and spring 2024 semesters.
- Students need to be in 6 hours to get Federal Workstudy awarded for a job on campus.

What to Know About FAFSA
FAFSA Simplification is coming for the 2024-2025 Award Year!
After over 40 years the FAFSA is gearing up to launch a more streamlined process for parents and students. The FAFSA launched on December 31, 2023. Students will use their 2022 income information on the application. The FHSU Priority deadline is April 1, 2024. Submit your FAFSA early so you do not miss out on limited funded financial aid. Last Date of Attendance or Participation
Under federal regulations, we must confirm students' course participation for courses dropped/withdrawn from after financial aid is disbursed. Please note that dropping/withdrawing from a course could require you to repay, specifically for Pell Grant recipients.
