The Tiger Stripes Lounge, located in Rarick Hall 284, is designed to support students in their academic and project-based endeavors. It features a comfortable lounge area where students can study, collaborate on projects, and access valuable tools and materials. Additionally, the lounge includes a well-stocked library of Teacher Education children's books, allowing becoming teachers to have check-out access to otherwise limited content. This lounge provides a quiet reading and research environment with a separate workroom connected. This combination of resources makes the Tiger Stripes Lounge an ideal spot for individual and group work, fostering a productive and supportive atmosphere for all students.
Tiger Stripes Lounge Hours
Monday-Friday: 7:00 AM – 9:00 PM
Saturday: 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM (Use Rarick Hall NE entrance to enter the building)
Sunday 6:00 PM – 9:00 PM (Use Rarick Hall NE entrance to enter the building)
*If needing to use the lounge outside of typical hours, please contact the College of Education at 785-628-5866 or in Rarick Hall 229 at least 24 hours before needing the space.

- Die Cut Machine
- Children’s books library for check-out

- Student worker hours are Monday-Friday, 11:15 am – 3:15 pm
