FHSU offers first-time, full-time, on-campus freshman students the opportunity to receive an automatic and renewable scholarship based on a combination of their ACT/SAT score and GPA. Students may be eligible to receive up to $15,000 in scholarship funds automatically. Yes, we superscore! The actual scholarship award will be based on your verified official academic credentials. These scholarships are renewable for three additional years, provided standard scholarship eligibility criteria are met. View the Scholarship Graph.

Scholarship Opportunities
Students are eligible to apply for additional FHSU scholarships after admittance to the university and every year after as a Tiger. Priority Deadline: November 15 & Final Deadline: February 15. Apply now!

The Rudd Scholarship is a Kansas program for Kansas residents who qualify for a Pell Grant and have the grit and determination to achieve their long-term goals. This scholarship is a competitive, 4-year award designed to pay any remaining costs associated with tuition and fees, books and supplies, and room and board after accounting for all other grants, scholarships, and financial awards.
