Moreover, all on-campus finance majors are required to complete the Bloomberg Market Concepts program and become Bloomberg certified. This is a 16-hour self-paced tutorial that teaches students how to use the Bloomberg terminals. By becoming Bloomberg certified, our students can put this achievement on their resumes, giving them an edge over students from other schools.

The BBA in Finance (Economics) program has a well-structured curriculum that lays a strong foundation in the core aspects of business. ECON 601: Quantitative Methods
This course is an introduction to the tools and procedures necessary to measure and test casual relationships implied by economic and finance theory. The emphasis will be on regression analysis.
ECON 640: Money and Banking
In this course, students examine the institutional setting which facilitates the creation and transfer of money between individuals, firms, and governments, how the supply and demand for money affect and is affected by national output, employment, prices, interest, and exchange rates; derivation of aggregate demand using Hicks' IS-LM model; theories and evidence of fiscal and monetary policy effectiveness in an open economy.
ECON 644: International Economics
This course is a survey of international trade and finance, including the theory and empirical foundations of international trade, the balance of payments and foreign exchange, contemporary international economic problems, and commercial policies (e.g., tariffs, quotas, exchange control, international monetary reform).
