Crop Division
The crops division was the first one started on the university farm with students planting one-acre garden plots to fund their education. Much of the college land was farmed by homesteaders with the last ones leaving by 1951. Crops are now planted and harvested by FHSU student employees and the division manager. Students learn the latest in crop production methods and soil conservation techniques.
Fun Fact: The combine at the FHSU farm is equipped with the latest Precision Agriculture technology
