Every incoming freshman is required to take either the ACT or SAT. Use our Scholarship Estimator to see if you automatically qualify for Tiger Freshmen Scholarships ranging from $6,000 - $15,000.

Our recommendation? Apply early. After you're accepted, you can apply for housing, scholarships, and financial aid–and then you can spend the whole year celebrating.

TigerNetID is a unified username and password authentication system for most Fort Hays State University computing resources. Activate your TigerNetID to explore your financial and academic information, FHSU e-mail, and other online services.

Scholarships are available from various sources, including FHSU, the State of Kansas, and community organizations. Scholarships usually have specific eligibility requirements and have various application processes. The deadline to apply for FHSU scholarships is February 15th.

In addition to scholarships, you may qualify for need-based financial aid. Complete your Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) before the December 1st priority deadline. Visit the Financial Assistance Office website for eligibility criteria, application procedures, scholarships, student employment opportunities, and much more!
