Freshman Scholarships

Fort Hays State University is excited to announce scholarship opportunities for the 2018-2019 academic year. The following scholarships are effective Fall 2018 for new on-campus freshman . All we need is your ACT/SAT scores and the scholarship is yours (in accordance with chart below). You may be eligible for other university and/or departmental scholarships too! Priority deadline to apply - November 15th, 2018. Final deadline - February 15, 2019.

Note: SAT scores are a combination of the Math and Critical Reading scores only.

Below is a brief description regarding renewals, deadlines and requirements.

*Presidential Award of Distinction, University Scholar Award, Hays City Scholar Award, and Traditions Scholar Award
• Renewable for three additional years if enrolled full-time and at least a 3.3 cumulative FHSU GPA is maintained. Scholarship programs subject to change annually.

Academic Opportunity Award
• One year, $500-$900 scholarships used toward tuition/residence hall reductions.
