Admission Requirements for the M.S. in High-Incidence Special Education
Please apply to the FHSU Graduate School to begin your admission into the High-Incidence Special Education master's degree program, as this graduate level program falls under the supervision of the Graduate School. The Graduate School processes all applications, which are available online as well as in print. When applying for this degree program in the Graduate School, look for this title on the application, MS in Special Education (High Incidence). When applying for this program for endorsement only, look for this title on the application, Non-degree Special Education (High Incidence).
To apply for the Master of Science degree in High-Incidence Special Education, you need to have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 on the last 60 undergraduate hours and supply the following materials to the Graduate School (Information below is found on the grads website):
- Completed application to the Graduate School for programs in the Advanced Education Programs Department.
- A personal statement addressing your reason for beginning a program in Special Education
- Two outside personal recommendations
- Inclusion of an Official Transcript documenting completion of a baccalaureate degree from an accredited university
- Send a copy of your teaching license if you are a licensed teacher.
