Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting (120 credit hours)

Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting, Public Accounting Concentration (124 credit hours)
Are you interested in accounting but would prefer working at a public accounting firm in tax or as an auditor? If so, then earning a B.B.A.in Accounting with a concentration in Public Accounting is the way to go. This program is designed to provide the educational qualifications needed to sit for the CPA exam (determined by the Kansas Board of Accountancy). Because a minimum of 150 credit hours is needed to be eligible to sit for the CPA exam, this program requires an additional year of coursework. Historically, students have chosen to complete the extra year in a variety of ways, including earning a second undergraduate degree in a supporting field, earning a graduate degree,or even by taking a cluster of classes in other areas of interest. Your advisor will work with you to tailor your program of study, completing these additional hours in the way that best matches with your career goals.
