Golden Beginnings
August 16-18, 2021
Check out the 2020 Golden Beginnings Schedule!
Student Engagement coordinates a variety of dynamic and impactful programs and events throughout the year. The programs and events are designed to facilitate engagement and connection between the Fort Hays State University community and the new first-year & transfer students, their parent(s), legal guardian(s), and family members.
Students participate together in a variety of activities such as small-group discussions, interacting with student organizations, and community service activities. All of the program's events are structured to engage, empower, and educate the participating students while also establishing a transformational sense of belonging, community, and team-work.
