Background:
Kevin Shaffer is an associate professor at Fort Hays State University within the department of Informatics. Mr. Shaffer has published journal articles in the areas of telecommunications policy and information systems risk assessment. He is certified as an instructor in the Cisco Networking Academy Program and his instructional responsibilities include teaching undergraduate courses on advanced computer networking concepts, data communication theory, cellular systems, wireless systems, and network security. Mr. Shaffer also teaches core graduate courses in the Master of Professional Studies program degree tracks in Computer Networking, Information Assurance Management and Cybersecurity.
