Financial Assistance
Cost Estimates & Payment Information
The following information will help you plan for the financial requirements of KAMS. Students attending KAMS from a Kansas public high school have their tuition and university fees covered by the state of Kansas. However, all students/families are responsible for paying housing and meal plan charges, additional application, registration, and housing contract fees, and any incidental purchases each year the student is in the program.
Payments are due on August 15, September 15, October 15, January 15, February 15, & March 15 each year. All bills are issued directly to the student through their personal Workday portal. No paper bills are sent.
Students attending KAMS from a Kansas private school or students who are residents of other U.S. states or countries are required to pay for all program costs. Click here for FHSU tuition information.

Due to being high school students, Academy students are not eligible to apply for aid through the Free Application for Federal Student Assistance (FAFSA). KAMS does provide a few scholarship options for domestic students to assist with the program's financial obligations:
KAMS Scholarship: a need-based, non-renewable scholarship available to incoming and returning KAMS students.
*Students must be admitted to KAMS before applying for this scholarship. We also ask that families wait to submit this application until their most recent tax filing is available.
