Benjamin Houchen is an instructor of Leadership Studies within the International Partnership program that Fort Hays State University has in China. Ben will be working for Zhengzhou Sias University in the fall of 2018. He is interested in the development of various leadership personalities throughout the generations and how various cultures have affected the development of those personalities. Moreover, he enjoys studying various forms of leadership in times and places of crisis and seeking to find ways to help crisis leader’s transition into long-term effective leaders once the crisis has passed. Currently, Ben lives in China with his wife and four children. He enjoys traveling, playing music, Dungeons & Dragons, board games, and video games. In his spare time, he thoroughly enjoy reading philosophy books and fantasy novels.
