Raised in Hays, Kansas, Dr. Gabel received his Bachelor's degree from Fort Hays State University. After earning his Juris Doctor in 1996, Dr. Gabel was admitted to the bar the State of Kansas and Federal District Court of Kansas. He has practiced law in the areas of estate planning, public finance, and taxation. Dr. Gabel currently maintains a small, specialized practice in addition to his academic duties.
