Do I have to come to campus?- FHSU offers both on-campus and online MBA options. A student may earn the core degree and most concentrations fully online without having to visit campus.
- Who are the faculty?
- The same full-time faculty teach the core on-campus and online sections. A mixture of academically and professionally qualified faculty teach the concentrations.
- Will I get to know my faculty and fellow students?
- Whether on-campus or online, you will get to know your professors and your colleagues. You will become part of the FHSU MBA Network!
- Are there scholarships or fellowships?
- On-campus students are eligible for several Graduate Teaching Assistant or Graduate Assistant positions. Scholarships for the MBA program can be found on the Financial Aid webpage.
- How do online classes work?
- Faculty use a variety of "best practices" tools including the Blackboard learning platform. Students are provided syllabi, assignments, lectures, simulations, and even collaboration tools. Most classes do not require students to be online at certain times, but provide assignment deadlines.
- What is the cost of the MBA?
- A listing of all current graduate tuition and fees can be found online through Student Fiscal Services.
- Are there additional costs for the MBA?
- Yes. Students will need to purchase course textbooks and related materials (if any) required by instructors.
- >Can I complete the MBA degree completely online?
- Yes. Depending upon your concentration, the MBA can be completed online, on campus, or a combination of both. All online graduates of the MBA program will be awarded the same degree as students who complete the on-campus MBA. The only concentration that cannot be completed online is Accounting.
- Can I complete the MBA degree completely on campus?
- Yes. All core courses of our MBA program are available for face-to-face instruction on campus. Some concentration area courses may be offered only online. View the course schedule for a complete list.
- How are MBA courses delivered?
- Specific course delivery may vary, but most MBA classes will use a combination of interactive learning techniques supported by the leading online educational delivery system worldwide (i.e., Blackboard).
- Do I need to take the GMAT or GRE before entering the MBA program?
- No. We do not require the GMAT or GRE for admission to the MBA program.

- Is the MBA program accredited?
- Absolutely. FHSU is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools.
- How many credit hours are required to earn the MBA?
- The MBA degree program consists of 33 semester credit hours - 24 hours of MBA core classes and 9 hours of concentration classes.
- Can courses from other graduate programs be transferred into the MBA degree?
- Transfer of credits is handled on a case-by-case basis. Contact the Graduate Coordinator, Sarah Patterson, for more information.
- How long will it take to complete the MBA program?
- Some concentrations can be completed in as little as 12 months. Most working professionals will take three or six credit hours a semester and will take three or more years to complete the degree.
- How long are semesters in the MBA program?
- MBA classes will be taught in fall, spring and summer semesters. All online and on campus MBA core classes are taught in 8-week course format. Please see the course schedule for more information.
