The Bachelor of Music: Music (Performance) degree is a professional degree that prepares students for future careers in music, including performance and teaching.  It is designed to take your skills to the next level in a four-year degree program through advanced musical training with outstanding faculty.  

Students pursuing the degree will declare a primary area of study and focus the majority of their coursework (68%) to this major, including lessons, ensembles, and supporting coursework in theory, history, analysis, and literature. Students entering this program should have a strong background in music and be prepared for intensive studies.   

FHSU is accredited by the National Association of Schools of Music.
