This certificate requires successful completion of 12 credit hours as is available completely online. To earn the Post-Master's Certificate in Nursing Administration, you will take the functional role courses within the MSN program for the Nursing Administration track.

Nursing Administration Badge (6 credit hours):
Any 6 credit hours within the Nursing Administration track courses. Certificates and badges will be sent to the students upon successful completion of the required credit amount.
The Post-Master's Certificate in Nursing Education is designed to provide you the coursework necessary to transition into a nurse educator role. This certificate requires successful completion of 12 credit hours and is available completely online. To earn the Post-Master's Certificate in Nursing Education, you will take the functional role courses within the MSN program for the Nursing Education track.

Nursing Education Badge (6 credit hours):
Any 6 credit hours within the Nursing Education track courses. Certificates and badges will be sent to the students upon successful completion of the required credit amount.
Applying to the Post-Master's Nursing Certificate Program
Fort Hays State University Nursing Department offers the MSN-NA (Nurse Administrator) or MSN-NE (Nurse Education) Post Master’s Program. The Nursing Department through the Graduate School offers the badge (6 credit hours) or students can do the certificate (12 credit hours).
