Describe your research

I am researching rural law enforcement response to domestic violence in order to determine the unique issues and potential policy implications to address such issues.

What was it like sharing your research?

I have had so many opportunities to present my research and I am grateful for each one. My experience has shown me that be are interested in these issues and want to become involved in helping.

What are your future career goals and how does this research experience prepare you for the future?

I am currently studying for the law school admission test (LSAT) in hopes of applying to law schools soon. This research experience has helped me improve a variety of my skills. I am a better writer and speaker overall. This will experience will help me show that I am a qualified candidate when applying to law school.

Why would you recommend other students get involved with research or scholarly activities at FHSU?

I would recommend getting involved in research and scholarly activities at FHSU because the potential for growth is amazing. I was comfortable with my undergraduate experience before becoming involved but getting involved pushed me to realize my full potential academically.
