Stage 2 | Teacher Education
Students in Stage 2 have officially been accepted into the Teacher Education program. In this stage, candidates have access to restricted major and methods courses in addition to internships and student teaching. Candidates in Stage 2 will learn major program concepts, education curriculum and engage in field experience. It is important for candidates in Stage 2 to monitor program requirements including GPA, deadlines, course completion plan, among others. In the final semester of student teaching, candidates will prepare for the licensure exams. By completing all course requirements, passing the performance assessment, and receiving passing licensure scores, candidates will be eligible to apply for their initial teaching license.
