Sexual Harassment/Assault
Harassment of any student on basis of sex shall be considered a violation of College policy. Students who feel they have been a victim of sexual harassment or assault should contact the Assistant Vice President of Student Affairs at 785-628-5824
Campus Sexual Assault Victims' Bill of Rights
- Accuser and accused must have the same opportunity to have others present.
- Both parties shall be informed of the outcome of any disciplinary proceeding.
- Survivors shall be informed of their options to notify law enforcement.
- Survivors shall be notified of counseling services.

- Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972 is a comprehensive federal law that prohibits discrimination on the basis of sex in any federally-funded education program or activity. Created in hopes to better gender equality, Title IX strictly prohibits gender discrimination in any school or university that receives federal funding.
