Exceptional high school juniors and seniors who are brimming with potential, experience college-level classes, perform research, and engage in co-curricular activities in the Kansas Academy of Math and Science (KAMS)—the state’s premier academic high school program. KAMS identifies the best and brightest prospective college students and engages them with the most dynamic current FHSU students who offer invaluable leadership and mentoring opportunities. Since KAMS scholars do not qualify for financial aid, privately funded housing scholarships ensure these students can accelerate their college-preparedness through this unique residential learning Academy.
