FHSU has a collaborative agreement with Kansas State University that allows a maximum of 18 credit hours of your Ed.S. to transfer to KSU's Ed.D. program in Education Leadership. This option is currently only open to those in the Ed.S. in Education Administration (Superintendent) program. This is a great opportunity and a considerable cost-savings for FHSU graduates.
Please note, admission to the Ed.D. is not automatic nor guaranteed. You must apply to the KSU program and meet all admission requirements after obtaining the Ed.S. degree from FHSU. All requirements for the Ed.D. must be met in 10 years including all transferred Ed.S. coursework. Our agreement is for the transfer of credit hours only.
KSU requires an additional 46 hours to complete their Ed.D. program. For information on the Kansas State University Ed.D. in Education Leadership program visit this link.
