Program Overview
The Associate of Applied Science (AAS) in Technology and Leadership has been developed specifically for service members and veterans. This program will award up to 30 credit hours for military training and experience. Six (6) hours of transfer credit may also be awarded using course substitutions for common core military leadership training as indicated in the tables below. The amount of credit awarded will depend on the training and experience you have completed.
Service members will be required to take 15 hours of General Education Credit, and 9-15 hours of concentration credit in Leadership Studies from FHSU. This program will also award a certificate in Leadership Studies upon completion. Multiple bachelor's degree programs are available which may allow service members completing the AAS to graduate in two additional years.
If you have transfer credit for general education courses, you’ll need to complete a minimum of 15 semester hours (5 classes) from FHSU for an associate’s degree to be granted.
