Associate in Applied Science in Technology and Leadership
The Associate of Applied Science (AAS) in Technology and Leadership has been developed specifically for service members and veterans. This program will award up to 36 credit hours for military training and experience through a combination of up to 15 hours of American Council of Education (ACE) Credit, and up to 15 hours of credit using the Kansas Board of Regents Credit for Military Alignment initiative. Six hours of transfer credit will also be awarded using course substitutions of the Army Basic Leaders Course (or Warrior Leader Course/Primary Leadership Development Course), and any level of Structured Self Development or Distributed Learning Course for LDRS120 Issues in Leadership. This credit will be assigned through a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between FHSU and the Department of the Army. Other branches are pending specific course agreements but are eligible to pursue this degree.
