Description
In partnership with Leadercast, the Super Teams series will give leaders concrete principles to develop healthy teams. Each session will include a Leadercast broadcast and facilitated discussion by one of our esteemed MDC facilitators. All sessions take place via Zoom, during the lunch hour in April; the session link will be sent after registration.
April 4: Push your Edges by Ryan Hawk, Host of "The Learning Leader Show"

In this session, we will discuss the first step in leading super teams--leading yourself. We will talk about what it takes to get "uncomfortable," set your own standards, and hold others accountable.
April 11: Career Development: A Leadership Superpower by Julie Bauke, Workplace Expert & Career Strategist

Facilitators
Kaley Klaus, EdD is an assistant professor of leadership in the School of Criminal Justice, Leadership, and Sociology and the Director of Professional & Continuing Education at FHSU. She holds a doctorate in education leadership and a master's in organizaitonal leadership. Throughout her career, Kaley has led a variety of projects from technology implementation to learning assessment, strategic planning, study abroad, internationalization, program and curriculum development, and more.
Rachel Dolecheck, DBA, is an assistant professor of business communication at FHSU. She received her doctorate from the University of the Incarnate Word and her undergraduate, MBA, and EdS from Fort Hays State University. She teaches courses in business, corporate, and managerial communication, as well as professional development. Her research interests focus on employability, business communication, and teaching and learning strategies in business education.
Dr. Jeni McRay currently serves as the Assistant Provost of Internationalization & Strategic Initiatives at Fort Hays State University and supervises the Global Affairs/International Services and Civic Learning & Engagement units. Additionally, she is leading the efforts to centralize and build a new unit at FHSU for Professional & Continuing Education. She has over 23 years of experience designing and delivering professional education for a variety of learners, online, hybrid, and in person. Her educational background is in adult and professional education and educational leadership. She was previously an Associate Professor in the Department of Leadership Studies where she taught for FHSU’s cross-border program in China as well as an advisor and professor of leadership studies in the Master’s program. Prior to that she was the Chief Academic Officer for Southwestern College Professional Studies. Jeni has consulted for and facilitated multiple customized workshops for a variety of organizations and for FHSU’s Management Development Center, specializing in leadership development, personality styles, teaching & learning, emotional intelligence and organizational change.
Haley Williams, MPS is a proud two-time alumna of Fort Hays State University (FHSU), and currently serves as the Operations Director of Global Affairs and International Student Services at FHSU. Leading a diverse team from across the globe, she is dedicated to fostering cross-cultural understanding and support within the university community. Haley thrives on collaboration, enjoying her work with internal cross-functional teams at FHSU and across partner institutions worldwide. Outside of work, she cherishes quality time with her husband of nearly 15 years, their two daughters, and their beloved pets.
