The field of communication focuses on interacting with many types of audiences through diverse tactics, so it’s important to learn about a variety of media outlets and strategies in the field through an in-depth, hands-on education. Our degree programs will help shape your mind – and your skills – to fit the distinct fields and behavior areas of advertising, public relations, organizational communication, and applied communication. All communication majors complete a 9-hour core curriculum, plus an additional 33 hours in the program that vary by area of emphasis and are suited to their personal and professional goals.
