Specialization:
My research is focused on four broad areas: police use of force, criminal investigations, community criminology, and quantitative methods. I am interested in studying how patterns of police and resident behaviors vary across community context. I am the National Research Coordinator and a Senior Trainer for the National De-Escalation Training Center.
