Student of the Year Awards for 2021-2022
The Department of Economics, Finance, and Accounting presented Student of the Year Awards for 2021-2022 for each major in the department: accounting, finance, and international business and economics. Students graduating in the 2021-2022 academic year were eligible to receive these awards with the faculty from each discipline selecting the award recipients. Tatum Kimzey, Logan Lix, and Pol van Riet Miranda received the Student of the Year Awards in accounting, finance, and international business and economics respectively. Tatum graduated in December 2021 and Logan and Pol will graduate in May 2022. Dr. Dosse Toulaboe, chair of the department, presented Tatum and Logan with an award plaque at the Department Graduate Dinner on May 3. Pol is currently living in Spain so a formal presentation could not take place.
