Student of the Year Awards for 2022-2023
The Department of Economics, Finance, and Accounting presented Student of the Year Awards for 2022-2023 for each major in the department: accounting, finance, and international business and economics. Students graduating in the 2022-2023 academic year were eligible to receive these awards with the faculty from each discipline selecting the award recipients. Brett Loving, Ethan Lang, and Tevfik Ali Buğra Kara received the Student of the Year Awards in accounting, finance, and international business and economics respectively. Brett graduated in December 2022 and Ethan and Tevfik will graduate in May 2023. Dr. Dosse Toulaboe, chair of the department, presented Brett and Ethan with an award plaque at the Department Graduate Dinner on May 2. Tevfik lives in Istanbul, Turkey so a formal presentation could not take place.
