Ticket Information
There are several different options to consider when purchasing tickets for Encore performances. Season Tickets are available for purchase beginning in November and provide our patrons with the best value. A set of Season Tickets consists of one ticket to each of the six Encore Series performances. Individual Show Tickets can also be purchased prior to each performance; on sale date varies for each show, but are usually on sale approximately two weeks prior to the performance. Specialty packages vary from year to year but may also be offered throughout the season.
Season Ticket Advantages
- Season ticket holders are guaranteed the same seats year after year, with the opportunity to change locations, if desired. As our subscription base grows, you can rest assured your seat will be yours as long as you renew by the stated deadline each year.
- Season tickets save you over 25 percent compared to individual ticket prices.
- Any FHSU employee may pay for season tickets with convenient payroll deductions.
- Season ticket holders will be listed in each program as a supporter of the performing arts.
- Patrons enjoy access to world-class performances at much lower prices than the same performances in a larger metropolitan area.
- Encore Series season subscribers and Friends of Encore are eligible for an income tax deduction as allowable by law.
- If tickets are lost, they will be replaced quickly and conveniently. Please call 785-628-5308 for replacement tickets. Ticket reprinting fees will apply; as of fall 2019 reprinting fees are 25 cents per ticket.
Season Ticket Policies
- Season ticket sales will be limited to 900 in the 2023 - 2024 season. Order early!
- A set of tickets is one ticket to each of the six performances.
- Reserved and unreserved seats are available.
- Subscribers from the 2021-2022 season have first choice in reserving seats. The renewal deadline for season ticket holders to have first seating preference is September 28, 2023.
- After the priority deadline, ticket orders are filled on a first-come, first-served basis.
- To be seated by specific individuals, their names must be noted on the order form and returned with all involved parties.
- All ticket sales are final and no refunds will be issued.
- FHSU students may purchase individual tickets for half price on the night of the performance at the Sheridan Hall box office only upon availability. One ticket per show with a valid Tiger Card.
- FHSU student status will be verified to receive specially-priced tickets. These tickets may not be used by non-students, or transferred. Please present Tiger Card and show ticket at the door.
- FHSU students, including online students and those attending Fort Hays Tech | North Central, are eligible for the student discount starting at three credit hours.
- FHSU faculty and staff are only permitted to utilize the season ticket faculty/staff discount, regardless of registration status.
