Welcome to Fort Hays State University! We first off will congratulate you for choosing Fort Hays State University as your next Home. It is the door to many new experiences and adventures. The men of the Interfaternity Council advocate for students to make the most of their college career by participating in many co-curricular activities. Men in fraternity life have statistically shown to participate in more leadership roles on campus and in the community. Each fraternity at FHSU, and the fraternity and sorority life community has many things to offer you such as a social environment to foster lifetime connections, leadership opportunities that provide you with valuable experiences, and service opportunities.

If you are thinking about joining a fraternity and would like to learn more about the community, contact Ali Colwell, FSL Advisor, at greeklife@fhsu.edu or 785-628-4666. From here you will be able to ask questions about fraternity life at FHSU, and contact each chapter's recruitment chairman.
Requirements
Each fraternity is dedicated to finding members with leadership potential, high academic standards, and a commitment to service. In order to be eligible for Fraternity & Sorority Life at Fort Hays, you must have a cumulative 2.5 as well as maintain that 2.5.
Final Remarks
Fraternity Life will supply you with many opportunities to further your leadership abilities; from the opportunity to hold a position as an executive member in your chapter, serve on committees, and become a representative in the fraternity and sorority community. Through academics, leadership, and community service, fraternity life at Fort Hays State University encourages each member to get to know the men within their chapter and within the entire fraternity and sorority community.
