Certification
The Information Assurance Courseware Evaluation (IACE) Program has evaluated the Fort Hays State University certification application and validated that its courseware meets all of the elements of the Committee on National Security Systems (CNSS) National Training Standards for:
- Information Systems Security (INFOSEC) Professionals, NSTISSI No. 4011
- System Administrators (SA), CNSSI No. 4013 Entry Level
Students in the Information Assurance Emphasis in the Bachelors of Science or Arts in Information Networking and Telecommunications, the Information Assurance Concentration in the Masters of Liberal Studies, or the Information Assurance Concentration in the Masters of Business Administration who complete INT 684 Foundations of Information Systems Security will receive a certificate. The certificate will provide evidence that the student has completed coursework meeting these two CNSS standards.
