Information Assurance
BA or BS in Information Networking and Telecommunications, Concentration: Computer Networking and Telecommunications with Information Assurance Emphasis
Our Information Assurance program is network and professionally oriented. It covers the domains of the Certified Information System Security Professional (CISSP). We've mapped our curriculum to the NSA 4011 and NSA 4013 training standards.
Information security encompasses not only technology, but also physical security, policies, practices, and law. You'll learn theory and applied strategies for using tools to protect PCs, servers, data and voice networks. We'll prepare you for the Cisco security certifications and Cisco networking certifications.
Our graduates go on to work at companies such as Cisco, Sprint, Berbee Information Networks, and Nex-Tech.
The United States Federal Government has designated FHSU as a National Center of Academic Excellence in Information Assurance Education.
