GENERAL BUSINESS INFORMATION
- State of Kansas: the official website of the State of Kansas that provides resources and services for businesses and residents.
- Small Business Administration: is a government agency that provides support to entrepreneurs and small businesses. SBA can help facilitate a loan for you with a third party lender, guarantee a bond, or help you find venture capital.
- Network Kansas: a statewide network of non-profit business-building resources that help entrepreneurs and small business owners' startup and grow successful businesses.
- wKREDA: supports rural development in western Kansas through Business Development, Government Affairs, Education and Public Relations committees.
- Northwest Kansas Economic Innovation Center: they focus primarily on reversing the population drain, increasing economic opportunities, and strengthening critical community services in the 26 most northwest counties in Kansas.
- SCORE Business Resource Center: a nonprofit association dedicated to helping small businesses get off the ground, grow and achieve their goals through education and mentorship.
- Kansas Angel Investors: program administered by the Kansas Department of Commerce and designed to bring together accredited angel investors with qualified Kansas companies seeking seed and early stage investment.
- Kansas Association of Certified Development Companies: helps businesses access the numerous loan programs available from a variety of sources.
- Kansas Department of Agriculture - Division of Food Safety: promotes public safety by regulating the production and sale of food products in Kansas. Food establishments and processors are required to obtain a license through this department.

- Kansas Contractors Association: is a professional association of contractors and those who provide supplies and services to the heavy, highway and utility construction industry.
- Kansas County Treasurer's Association: is a statewide formed for the purpose building a uniform system of keeping accounts in the office of the County Treasurer in the counties of the State of Kansas.
- Kansas Financial Planning Association: offers resources designed to help individuals understand the importance of financial planning and the value of objective advice from a financial planner.
- Women's Business Resource Centers: it’s the SBA's department of information for women starting a business.
- U.S. Business: offers information about the steps to follow to start a small business, get financing help from the government, among other topics.
- USDA Rural Development: offers programs intended to improve the economy and quality of life in rural America.
- U.S. Department of Commerce: is the department concerned with promoting economic growth.
- U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: it’s the federal agency for granting U.S. patents and registering trademarks.

- NetWork Kansas E-community Loan: selected communities partner with NetWork Kansas to establish a locally-administered loan fund to assist entrepreneurs with access to capital.
- Angel Investment Network: allows users to convey their idea to thousands of potential investors looking for a new business to invest in.
- NAV: lets you access your personal and business credit scores, monitoring and tools to help build business credit.
- Credit Karma: offers free credit scores, reports and insights.
