Which learning community is right for me?
The first learning community launched in August 2010, and since that time learning communities have grown to include several communities for different interests. We look forward to offering the following learning communities for the 2021-2022 academic year:
1st to Finish
Students interested in leading the way as first-generation college students (the first students in their family to attend or graduate from college).
Artful Minds
Students interested in art education, art history, ceramics, drawing, graphic design, interior design, painting, photography, printmaking, sculpture, or studio art.
Athletes Today, Leaders Tomorrow
Designed for student-athletes who have completed NCAA eligibility as a qualifier or partial qualifier with a signed FHSU Athletic Financial Aid Agreement.
Career Ready Tigers
Students interested in exploring and building skills needed for workplace success after graduation in any major.
Everybody's Business
Students interested in a career in business or entrepreneurship.

Designed for students who have transferred to Fort Hays State University from a two-year or four-year institution.

Students interested in medicine, pharmacy, dentistry, optometry, osteopathy, podiatry, and chiropractic.
