President Hammond has decided that the university will close a day early
for the holiday break because of inclement weather. The forecast has been
downgraded but we still expect near-blizzard conditions with high winds and
an additional accumulation of up to 4 inches of snow.

The campus will close at the end of business today and reopen as scheduled
on Monday, Jan. 4.
