Two Fort Hays State University professors of art and design, Linda Ganstrom and Gordon Sherman, will be represented during the 12th National Juried Art Exhibit at the Baker Arts Center in Liberal. The exhibit will run from Jan. 12 through Feb. 20, 2010. The grand prize is $7,600.

Juror Dan Addington, owner of the Addington Gallery in Chicago, Ill., has selected 66 works of art created by 55 artists from 24 states to be shown in the Baker exhibit.

The show will include artwork showing great diversity in materials, techniques and styles among the two- and three-dimensional and photographic categories.

The exhibit is sponsored in part by Windtree Management and Leasing with additional support from the Kansas Arts Commission and the National Endowment for the Arts.
