Tiger 'meet and greet' set for fans of all ages
HAYS, Kan -- Tiger basketball fans can meet and greet members of the Fort Hays State University basketball teams, coaches and cheerleaders from 4:30 to 6 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 21, in the Eagle Communications Hall in the Robbins Center on the FHSU campus.
Fans who come out to the free, public event will get a poster-sized photo of the teams and have the opportunity to get them autographed. They can also get a picture taken with Victor E. Tiger and enjoy light hors d'oeuvres and beverages. Other freebies are also available courtesy of the sponsors: Cerv's, the University Bookstore, Walmart, FHSU Tigers4Life, the FHSU Alumni Association, the FHSU Foundation and the FHSU Athletic Department.
Going into this Saturday's game against Pittsburg State, the FHSU men are ranked sixth in the nation with a 14-1 overall record and an 8-0 mark in the MIAA. The women are third in the MIAA with 13-2, 6-2 records.
