HAYS, Kan -- Dr. Kenton Olliff, assistant vice president of Student Affairs and director of the Kelly Center at Fort Hays State University, and Maggie Denning, coordinator of academic support services at FHSU, gave a presentation entitled " Keeping All Your Balloons in the Air, Techniques for Stress Management" on Friday, Dec. 11, at the Center for Life Experiences in Hays.

The presentation was given for approximately 65 Hays Head Start personnel as part of a training workshop for stress management.

"The group really interacted well," said Olliff.

The presentation consisted of identifying the causes of stress and also those causes personally related to those who attended the presentation. Also, tips were given for brainstorming ideas for managing stress.

Olliff and Denning give about five to 10 workshops a year over stress management all across the nation at various conferences.
