FHSU Collegiate Farm Bureau wins agriculture quiz bowl
HAY, Kan. -- A team from the Fort Hays State University Collegiate Farm Bureau was named the Kansas Farm Bureau Young Farmers and Ranchers Collegiate Ag Quiz Bowl champions recently in Wichita.
The group beat out Kansas State University Collegiate Farm Bureau during the final round at the Young Farmers and Ranchers Leaders Conference.
Members of the team are: Travis Goetz, Dodge City senior; Shea Henderson, Alliance, Neb., senior; Colburn Patterson, Plainville freshman; and Chelse Rondeau, Great Bend sophomore.
Kansas Farm Bureau's Collegiate Farm Bureau program offers college students the ability to enhance their leadership skills through experiences and opportunities within the Farm Bureau organization to become agricultural leaders.
The KFB Young Farmers and Ranchers program is designed to find and develop the next generation of agriculture leaders.
