Zollinger, Brinker make presentations at Chicago sociological conference
HAYS, Kan. -- Dr. Brett Zollinger, chair of the Department of Sociology and Social Work and an associate professor of sociology at Fort Hays State University, presented "Sociodemographic Differences in Oral Health Awareness, Attitudes, and Practices: Findings from a Statewide Study" in April at the 2010 Midwest Sociological Society conference in Chicago.
Dr. Gary Brinker, director of FHSU Docking Institute of Public Affairs and an associate professor of sociology, presented "The Politics of Fossil Fuels: Obstacles to Wind Energy Development in Kansas" at the same conference.
Five student members of FHSU's Sociology Club also attended the conference.
