FHSU faculty receive tenure, promotion
HAYS, Kan. -- Fort Hays State University will promote and give tenure to 18 faculty members, who will be honored at a reception at 3 p.m. Tuesday, May 4, in the Memorial Union's Stouffer Lounge.
The tenures and promotions begin with the 2011 fiscal year.
Two faculty members were granted tenure and promoted to the listed academic rank:
Dr. Amy Cummins, associate professor.
Dr. Sharla Hutchison, associate professor.
Eleven faculty members were promoted to the listed academic rank:
Dr. Kathleen Arano, associate professor of economics and finance.
Dr. Mark Bannister, professor of informatics.
Dr. Emily Breit, assistant professor of economics and finance.
Dr. John Heinrichs, professor of geosciences.
Ms. Linn Ann Huntington, professor of communication studies.
Dr. Jeff Jordan, associate professor of music.
Dr. Carol Patrick, professor of psychology
Dr. Josephine Squires, professor of political science.
Dr. Rory Terry, professor of economics and finance.
Dr. Dosse Toulaboe, professor of economics and finance.
Dr. Brett Zollinger, professor of sociology.
Six faculty members were granted tenure:
Dr. David Bovee, assistant professor of history.
Dr. Terry Crull, assistant professor of music.
Dr. Kathy Dale, assistant professor of advanced education programs.
Ms. Christine Hober, assistant professor of nursing.
Dr. Lynn Maska, assistant professor of health and human performance.
Dr. Regi Wieland, assistant professor of advanced education programs.
