Area students accept FHSU scholarships at recognition program in Hays

HAYS, Kan. -- Several area students accepted Fort Hays State University scholarships for the 2010-2011 academic year at a recent Student Recognition Program in Hays.
The Hays SRP hosts students from six counties in north central Kansas: Ellis and Trego counties, La Crosse in Rush County, Natoma in Osborne County, Plainville in Rooks County and Ransom in Ness County. The Hays SRP was Feb. 22 in FHSU's Memorial Union.
Ellis High School
Jacob Begler accepted a $900 Academic Opportunity Award in health and human performance and a $500 Fort Hays Bronze Academic Award.
