Area students accept FHSU scholarships at recognition program in Wichita

HAYS, Kan. -- Several area students accepted Fort Hays State University scholarships for the 2010-2011 academic year at a recent Student Recognition Program in Wichita.
The Wichita SRP hosts students from 19 counties in south-central and southeastern Kansas: Sedgwick, Barber, Butler, Chautauqua, Cherokee, Crawford, Cowley, Elk, Greenwood, Harper, Harvey, Kingman, Labette, Montgomery, Neosho, Reno, Sumner, Wilson and Woodson.
Andale High School
Kyle Mans accepted a $900 Academic Opportunity Award in agriculture and a $700 Fort Hays Bronze Academic Award.
