Lego Robotics workshop for Kansas teachers
HAYS, Kan. -- Kansas teachers interested in Lego Robotics will have the opportunity to participate in a NASA Aerospace Education Specialist Robotics workshop from June 7-10, sponsored by the Science and Mathematics Education Institute at Fort Hays State University.
The workshop, presented by a member of the Aerospace Education Services Project, provides the opportunity for teachers to learn the basics of using Lego Robotics kits plus plan a "solar system" robotic mission.
The four-day workshop will be held at the Sternberg Museum of Natural History from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. The cost of attendance is $20 for the week. Participants are responsible for lodging and meal expenses and are also encouraged to bring a Lego Robotics kit to the workshop. No prior experience is required.
