HAYS, Kan. -- A new title for Mary Ridgway, who has served for several years as Fort Hays State University's art director, has been approved by Dr. Edward H. Hammond, FHSU president.

Ridgway now has the title of creative director, a title that more accurately describes her responsibilities and one that conforms more closely to those of her professional peers, said Kent Steward, director of University Relations.

"It better reflects what my duties are, and my professional peers can recognize that from my new title," Ridgway said.
