HAYS, Kans. -- Fort Hays State University Department of Art and Design has announced its 4th Annual American Democracy Project Poster Exhibition and Competition winners.

Students from Karrie Simpson Voth'sHistory of Graphic Design class created posters in conjunction with the American Democracy Project. The posters are over themes such as democracy, civic engagement, as well as controversial social and political issues.

More than 60 posters are on display along the main hallway of the first floor in the Memorial Union on the FHSU campus until Friday, Oct. 22.

The top three winners are listed by hometown, classification, place, and title of submission.
