HAYS, Kan. -- The dedication of the Dick Heil Memorial Butterfly Garden at Fort Hays State University will be at 2 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 31, along the north side of Martin Allen Hall.

The dedication will take place on the first anniversary of Dr. Richard "Dick" Heil's death. Heil was the former chair of the Department of Political Science and Justice Studies and professor of political science at FHSU.

A reception will follow in the Stouffer Lounge in the Memorial Union. An RSVP to 628-4425 is required to attend the reception.

In the event of poor weather, the dedication ceremony will be held in the Stouffer Lounge.
